Does the first part of the title of this post resonate with you? If so, then consider organizing your life to douse those flames as stated in the second part of the title.  By eliminating your constant ‘hair on fire’ scenarios, you will live a less stressful, more productive and peaceful life.  But first, determine what areas of your life cause the ‘hair on fire’ scenario the most. Are you constantly looking for your keys, making you late to work, appointments, or school? Are you buying multiples of items because you didn’t know you already had one or more of [...]

A Well-Organized Girls Weekend

By |2021-08-11T13:37:33-05:00August 18th, 2021|Categories: Planning|Tags: , , , , |

Getting away for the weekend, especially with the girls, is a great way to relax, regroup, party and laugh, sometimes until we cry.  It’s a wonderful form of therapy. My friends and I have enjoyed getting away for a girls weekend for the past 36 years. Yes, you heard that correctly, 36 years. Last year we weren’t able to go due to the pandemic, which would have been year 35. Recommendations For Good Service Providers

Have you ever been in a pinch and needed recommendations for a good service provider? Most of us have our favorites that we use on a regular basis. These could be personal care items, cleaning products, office supplies, etc. We consolidate the varying amounts into one container and voila, more space! I often wonder how that happens. My thought is to use up all the stuff in one container before opening a new one. If it’s the same product, why open a new one? It could be that the container being used, gets pushed behind others so it’s not seen.  [...]

Do you get anxious every year as we approach the holiday season? Perhaps when you begin to see Christmas ads in your mailbox, or holiday displays in stores that you frequent. Retailers seem to start earlier and earlier every year, sometimes before Halloween. It can be overwhelming, and a reminder that you better start your holiday planning so you will be ready for this festive time of year. It can be a stressful time. There are gifts to make or purchase, some that may need to be sent to loved ones in another state or country. Possibly greeting cards to mail, [...]

It’s the beginning of November, and you’ve made the decision to host Thanksgiving dinner this year at your home for family and friends.  Now you need to begin preparing for this festive occasion.   The more time you allow for planning, the less stress you will have to enjoy the day. There is much to do to get everything ready on time - cleaning the house, putting up the decorations, planning the meal, & shopping for ingredients to name a few.  But where do you begin?
