This is a favorite organizing tip that I, and so many other professional organizers use. The 1 in 1 out rule states that when you bring an item into your home, you remove an existing item. Organizing Printed Photos

People of a certain age, older adults, have a lot of printed photos. In the past, there were actual cameras we used with film cartridges that you had to take in for developing.  Those actions led to a mass quantity of physical photos. Remember The 3 R’s as You Downsize

The 3 R’s are - reuse, reduce and recycle. These are very important R’s to remember at all times. I just read something the other day on the internet somewhere, I can’t remember where, that suggested we add a 4th R – refuse.  The context pertained to refusing to use disposable plastic water bottles.
