Anyone that wears glasses, has at some time, or many times, misplaced them.  Those that wear reading glasses only, may misplace them more than those that wear glasses all the time.  This probably occurs most often when we’re tired or distracted. When you’re tired, you don’t want to fall asleep with them on and risk damaging them, so you take them off and put them down.  You’re sleepy so you don’t really pay attention to what you’re doing when you set them down. Getting Back on Track

Getting back on track can be challenging when you’re interrupted by someone or something.  Interruptions can cause you to become distracted. Then it takes some time to figure out where you left off.
