trust your gutAlways trust your gut. Listen to your inner voice, which is your conscious thought process and your intuition which is unconscious and comes from your senses. They are there for a reason, we all have them, and they will keep you safe.

You may get a feeling about something, or a situation and you need to pay attention to it no matter what, that’s how you trust your gut.  It doesn’t mean that you should make decisions based on just a feeling, but to pay attention to it and search for more information to make an informed decision before taking an action.

Have you ever been in a situation where you were working with another person to make important decisions for you? Did they ever recommend solutions that you didn’t like or that go against what you know or believe, in relationship to the particular situation?  That could be your inner voice, intuition or maybe a little of both and I encourage you to listen to that voice or feeling.

How many times have you second guessed yourself and it came back to bite you? I can’t tell you how many times this has happened to me. You’d think I would have learned this lesson by now. This happens when you’re not mindful of your inner voice or intuition, you didn’t trust your gut.

The next time you are in a situation where your intuition or inner voice gives you a feeling or thoughts that don’t quite feel right, I encourage you to pay attention and take a pause before taking an action. This will provide you with organized thoughts that will allow you to search for additional information to make a considered decision about this particular situation. That’s how you trust your gut.
